The year was 1968, when a passionate traveler experienced in economics, Gerolamo "Gimmo" Etro, founded his own haute couture company. It was characterized by quality textiles in daring colours and innovative combinations. In the eighties, the brand's signature item became a paisley patterned fabric that raised luxury accessories in the form of handbags and suitcases to a higher level. The breakthrough came in 1985, when the Etro brand presented its first collection for the home, which contained everything - from blankets to photo frames.
Etro owned the Milan Fashion Week and Salone del Mobile!
The brand has attained such a prominent position that since 1996 it has regularly exhibited at the prestigious Milan fashion week. Similarly, Etro's exclusive furniture and decorative items have also been rightly appraised, so we can see the latest works at the Salone del Mobile luxury furniture fair in Milan.

Among other things, the FONDA bookcase was presented, which thrilled us with its gentle and clean style. Some of its parts are filled with beautiful materials of distinctive colours in purple or claret shades, and playful stripes are also included.
