According to the Ministry of Health, the Central Registration System for Vaccination against COVID-19 will be launched on January 15. Out of those signed up, people that fall into the priority groups will be notified by the system of the date and place of vaccination, via e-mail or SMS.

According to the resort's spokeswoman, Barbora Peterová, people over the age of 65 and chronically ill patients should come first, followed by health workers and public health professionals, social workers, members of the military and other elements of critical infrastructure, and, in the last wave, other policyholders interested in vaccination.

British lawmakers backed Britain's trade agreement with the European Union after Brexit. 521 members of the House of Commons supported it, 73 legislators were against. The agreement, which will enter into force today at 11 pm GMT, has already been formally signed by both European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel.

"This agreement is the beginning of our new relationship with our European neighbours. It is a deal based on friendly co-operation between sovereign equals, centred on free trade and inspired by our shared history, interests and values, while respecting one another’s freedom of action,"

said British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The agreement was signed four and a half years after the United Kingdom had voted for leaving the EU in a referendum.

Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has been elevated to the nobility for his achievements in motorsport in the Queen's New Year Honors list. The New Year Honours is a part of the British honours system, with New Year's Day, 1 January, being marked by naming new members of orders of chivalry and recipients of other official honours. The 35-year-old Briton won his seventh title at the Turkish Grand Prix in November, beating Michael Schumacher's record.

Next to Hamilton, the rugby league legend Rob Burrow or former English footballer Jimmy Greaves, who suffered a severe stroke in 2015, also have a reason to celebrate. Both of them became members of the Order of the British Empire and are now proud owners of the MBE title.

"I'm deeply honoured to receive this recognition for services to football from Her Majesty The Queen at almost 81,"

said Jimmy Greaves.

A genius actor and problematic companion who is fits perfectly into the roles of antagonists. That's a brief description of Sir Anthony Hopkins, who started his film career half a century ago and made more than 120 films. Next year, 30 years will have passed since his most famous role of Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs, and it was for this performance that Anthony received the only Oscar in his career. His latest nomination for the most coveted film award came this year for hisr role in the film Two Popes. Next year, the British actor may be in the game again, because critics cannot say enough of good about his performance in The Father. Even in his 80s, Hopkins isn't slowing down his work pace. He's already been confirmed for the main role in the upcoming film about the savior of Jewish children, Nicholas Winton, entitled One World. Anthony is married for the third time and has only one daughter; their relationship is very problematic.

"I only make movies for two reasons: they feed me and I enjoy them. Look no further than that,"

Anthony Hopkins said at one point. We wish him good health and many film roles in the years to come!

That's all from us today. We wish you a successful start to the new year. And when you raise your glass to toast at midnight today, think of the words of the successful Oprah Winfrey:

"Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right."
