Enough! It looks like Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have been pushed to the limit. They will no longer allow media to write whatever they please about them. They've decided to prevent the four most famous tabloid newspapers in England from reporting about their lives. The couple sent a letter to the editors of The Sun, Daily Mail, Daily Express and Daily Mirror, clearly stating that they no longer wished to see false and misleading information written about them. Apparently, the couple is sick and tired of the fact that they're still being singled out by the paparazzi, despite having given up their royal duties. All they want is to live a peaceful life in California, where they've recently moved together with their son Archie.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who had resigned their royal duties at the end of last month, sent a letter to a number of tabloids detailing their current new involvement in public life.

In the letter, the couple outline their new media relations policy and mention that they no longer receive any state-funded support. However, it also includes several lines about the negative and derogatory way in which the couple have been presented in the articles so far.

"This policy is not about avoiding criticism. It's not about shutting down public conversation or censoring accurate reporting. Media have every right to report on and indeed have an opinion on The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, good or bad. But it can't be based on a lie. IIt has been said that journalism’s first obligation is to the truth. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex agree wholeheartedly,"
say the words of the letter.

The ban on cooperation with newspapers will mean that the PR team will no longer respond to requests for interviews. Should these specific media wish to publish anything about them, they will have to send the article for authorization and wait for approval from Meghan and Harry. The article must, of course, be based on truth. The letter also mentions that this attitude of the spouses isn't in any way a blanket policy for all media and that the couple looks forward to cooperation with journalists and media around the world.

The fact that the couple's recent "side job" was supposed to remain secret proves that Meghan and Harry have no interest in the attention of media. They voluntarily participated in the project of the non-profit organization Angel Food, which prepares and delivers food to chronically ill people. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex put on face masks and gloves and distributed food to dozens of clients. It seems that it might take Meghan and Harry quite some time to win the status of "ordinary mortals," and be able to help the people around them without causing much commotion.
