What novelties did they present at the Salone del Mobile design festival?
At the fair, you could see new types of kitchen counters, where the most functions are concentrated. You can call them loyal "friends that have your back". An attempt to make use of storage space to the maximum with the most functions is noticeable. Everything adheres to the idea that nothing should prevent communication with the family.
The central dominating element according to Bulthaup is a luxurious island. What impressed us about it? An innovative function, a moving cutting board with an even more original second practical level serving to provide the right space for spices, knives and other objects. The intelligent hob system is really smart: you put a pot of any size on it and cook, farther away from you the hob is hot, closer it is cold, so you don't burn your fingers. The hob is the main element in the kitchen because you can use it cold as a storage space and hot when you cook. Below the hob are drawers for kitchen utensils. The kitchen will appear on the market later this year.

In 1926, architect Margarete Schutte-Lihotsky invented the concept of a fitted kitchen (known as a "Frankfurt kitchen") and Martin Bulthaup, who began producing kitchen cabinets in Bavaria in 1949, quickly adopted this approach. He founded the company Martin Bulthaup Möbelfabrik and his first product was a sideboard with hand-sewn curtains. Since 1978, the son of the founder, Gerd Bulthaup, has taken over the reins. Bulthaup currently offers its luxury products in three ranges: b1, b2 and b3.
What is hidden behind the abbreviations b1, b2, b3?
Bulthaup b1 could be described as a minimalist, puristic kitchen with a clean design. B2 is a system built on a luxury island that can stand even in the living room. An essential element of the attractiveness of the Bulthaup b3 kitchen is a wide range of design options that allow for complete freedom is configuration. For example, the Multifunctional Wall b3 gives freedom and becomes the main factor in interior planning. It doesn't necessarily have to be in the kitchen, but can be located anywhere in the house.
