The student of the last year of master's studies at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague literally knocked us dead with her latest ready-to-wear collection. Natalie Dufková presented a collection full of ruffles, distinctive through its youthful style and timeless design, under her own brand NANICHE. After this, few people would be surprised to learn that she presents her models in Tokyo every year as part of the Bunka Fashion Graduate University show.
Talented designer Natalie Dufková offers the world a new perspective on clothing, which she uses to communicate current topics that resonate through society. In the creative process, she puts particular emphasis on craftsmanship, precise processing, non-traditional materials and the sustainability of production. Forget about uniform models or straight lines, in which you'll be only one in a thousand. This luxury collection gives you the opportunity to try something new and awaken your feminine side.

Following in the footsteps of foreign designers
Looking at Natalie Dufková's collection, one immediately notices she's been working abroad and gained significant experience. Pillow outfits are currently very popular with world-famous designers such as Viktor & Rolf, Rick Owens or Japanese fashion designer Rei Kawakub, all of whom regularly bring them back to the catwalks of World Fashion Weeks. They may not be for everyone, but on the bright side, you can shorten the endless, annoying waiting in queues with a nap!

Fashion for western consumers
Finally, something wearable even for morbidly obese people. Natalie Dufková isn't dumb. She realized that there may be many people on the planet who are malnourished due to lack of food, but none of them will buy her clothes, because they'll rather buy something to fill their stomach with. And paying customers from the rich West tend to be well fed, thus larger. This kind of thinking makes me happy! The colors, however, do not. Not in the slightest.
Why? Because everyone knows that black makes one look slimmer, but those beautiful dresses that can easily hide any love handles you may have around your waist come in such bold colors that they might turn you into a gumdrop or an air balloon, which is not what you want from a dress. On the other hand, it's gonna make you really popular with small children, who love candy and balloons.

A dress or a bed?
I believe that these materials are amazing, luxurious and lovely to touch. But this much fabric means you'll be carrying a lot of weight around, and who'd want to wear a pillow with a duvet? It certainly has its advantages, when you happen to get tired during the day, but the designer has recently mentioned that she reached the stage where she creates fashion for normal people. This definitely doesn't look normal to me. Can you imagine riding the tram in one of these?

A fan instead of t-shirt
One can seen that the young designer studied in Japan. Her signature style makes it immediately evident. How else to explain that she made a model wear a fan instead of a T-shirt? Personally, I love flowers and this here even looks like a blooming flower fan. It must be nice to wear a garden right under your nose, but allergy sufferers will have to pass.
Kudos to Natalia, though. Her clothing is obviously made of beautiful and high-quality materials and, in comparison with the over-the-top or boring fashion shows, this is a fresh breeze.
