Natali Ruden and her beauty queens took over Forum Karlín with the Alter Ego collection
Dance and fashion go hand in hand
The Night of NINE show took place on 14 September at Forum Karlín on the occasion of the 15th year of the International Open Dance competition in Prague and also included Natali Ruden’s show. In between original performances by the best world and European Latin-American and standard dancers, spectators were able to admire female beauty and the talent of Natali Ruden.
Dana Morávková and Roman Vojtek guided guests through an evening full of stars. The stars of the Natali Ruden Alter Ego show were beauty queens Kateřina Kasanová, Nikola Uhlířová, Nikol Švantnerová, Lucie Smatanová and director of the Miss Czech Republic competition Taťána Makarenko.

Natali Ruden revealed why she decided to present the deluxe Alter Ego collection during the NINE art evening.
“Dance fascinates me because it combines sport with visual aesthetics. Physical fitness and the aesthetic impression are important in dancing. I am very happy to be able to be part of the NINE event and I believe that as a result of this collaboration dance will be the inspiration for my next author show.“
In the spirit of dazzling splendour
Natali Ruden presented deluxe gowns full of dazzling splendour, elaborate designs and captivating fresh colours, which included purple, fuchsia, gold, silver and indigo. The Alter Ego collection celebrates feminine curves and the deluxe evening gowns, mini-dresses, suits and boiler suits are adorned with deep necklines, sensual cut-outs and naked shoulders – this show has been a real success for Natali Ruden.

The Alter Ego fashion show added even more more zest to the NINE art evening and we are now curious what Natali Ruden will show us on 25 September, when she will take over Forum Karlín once more, with the Asia collection!

A flood of sensual femininity with a pinch of glitter
As one of the few fashion designers in this country Natali Ruden is not afraid of varied colours, which there was certainly no lack of during the Alter Ego show. And I just LOVE that!
I thought the most beautiful model of all was the long fitted evening gown, worn by Nikol Švantnerová, with its soft champagne colour combined with the magnificent black stones, which were sewn on by hand....And I also admire the perfectly shaped décolletage, which the accurately adjusted cups also helped create. This may be just a detail, but it is one of the most important. To feel comfortable in a sexy dress and not have to constantly check the mirror to make sure that everything is still where it should be, that is what we all want. And that is why I give this model full marks.
The collection also surprisingly included leather trousers combined with a corset. I don’t think this model fits in with the style of the show and I also cannot imagine what occasion you would wear something like this to. It could possibly be worn by a singer during a sexy performance.....
