The company Smartmatic sued Fox News, Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell for $ 2.7 billion (approximately 58 billion Czech crowns) over an alleged disinformation campaign. Smartmatic deals with voting technologies. It has been heavily slandered in recent months and now it strikes back. Pro-Trump lawyers and "his" television station FOX News had accused the company of manipulation and fraud without any evidence. In an interview with CNN Business, the company's founder and CEO, Antonio Mugica, said they had no choice but to fight the information with a lawsuit. Apparently, the conspiracies pose a direct existential threat to the further operation of Smartmatic.

The fate of the state of emergency in the Czech Republic after 14 February is in the hands of the KSČM. The broader leadership of the Communist Party will discuss the end of tolerance of Andrej Babiš's minority government and support of the extension of the state of emergency today. The communists have an issue with the fact that the government failed to comply with their condition, under which they had supported this year's budget. The KSČM wanted the army to lose 10 billion crowns, which was approved by the government. They, however subsequently returned the army 5 billion crowns from the budget reserve.

"We see no reason to further prolong the state of emergency,"

said chairman of the KSČM Vojtěch Filip who has already spoken with Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and President Miloš Zeman about the end of the Communist Party's support for the state of emergency. The government will discuss a possible extension of the national state of emergency on Monday. The matter should be decided by the Chamber of Deputies on Thursday, February 11.

We informed about singer Rihanna's provocative tweet in our morning news overview on Tuesday, February 2. Now the Barbados native is in the thick of the action again. The pop superstar had alerted her followers on the social network Twitter to the tens of thousands of protesting farmers in India who are upset by the newly passed laws, and the local ruling government launched a counterattack within a few hours. The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement in response to the tweets from the influential 32-year-old singer. He criticized celebrities and other influential figures for their public comments, which, in his opinion, are neither accurate nor responsible and threaten the unity of India.

"No propaganda can deter India's unity! No propaganda can stop India to attain new heights! India stands united and together to achieve progress,"

Indian Interior Minister Amit Shah wrote on Twitter. In the meantime, a wave of anger has swept over Rihanna from many social network users from India. Some even approached her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who had physically attacked her in the past.

The 32-year-old British actor surprised the public in a recent interview. Grint, famous for the portrayal of the red-haired magician Ron Weasley from the phenomenally successful saga about Harry Potter, admitted in an interview that he hadn't seen all eight films in which he starred and which guaranteed him world-wide popularity for the rest of his life. Although ten years have passed since the release of the last installment in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 in theaters, the fame of the Harry Potter book series and film saga hasn't waned. In a new interview with Variety magazine, Rupert Grint admitted that he wasn't really enthusiastic about watching his performance as the student of wizardry Ron Weasley.

"I've probably seen the first three at the premieres, but after that I stopped watching... But now that I have a daughter, I will probably have to watch them,"

revealed the actor who, unlike Emma Watson or Daniel Radcliff, didn't star in many other films after the end of the wizarding-world series. He's not the only Hollywood actor who doesn't like watching his films, though. Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, or Jared Leto have all admitted the same in the past.
