The reason for the new high tariffs, which are due to take effect from Saturday, are according to US President Donald Trump, for example, high migration and a high trade deficit. Hip-hop star Sean Diddy Combs is to be held accountable for his actions in a new indictment, with the trial taking place at the beginning of May.

Trump plans to impose a 25 percent tariff on goods from Canada and Mexico on Saturday

US President Donald Trump said he will fulfill his threat and impose a 25 percent tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico. It would come into effect from Saturday, February 1st. He justified this with the transport of fentanyl across common borders, a high number of migrants, and also a large trade deficit, reported by Ceskenoviny.cz. At the same time, he will reportedly decide whether the 25 percent tariff will also apply to Canadian and Mexican oil. He further intensified his threat when he said that the level of duties "can, but may not, increase over time."

Court extends charges against Sean Diddy Combs

Hip-hop star Sean Diddy Combs is now accused of abusing women and human trafficking, according to the latest statement. The fifty-five-year-old three-time Grammy winner denies all allegations. He remains in prison as the trial is set to take place on May 5th. In the new indictment, prosecutors claim that the crimes were committed between the years 2004 and 2024. The original indictment stated that everything began only in 2008, reported by the agency AP. Diddy is said to have threatened women and forced them to fulfill his erotic desires. He is accused of repeatedly beating them, kicking them, and throwing objects at them.

The world's largest wind-powered cargo ship completed a journey in 32 days

Artemis, considered to be the largest cargo sailing ship in the world, anchored after a 32-day journey from the port of Les Havre in northern France in New York. It unloaded around a thousand tons of French liqueur, champagne or Bonne Maman jam here. With 52-meter-high carbon masts and an area of 2,100 square meters, the ship sails at an average speed of 11 nautical miles per hour. The carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are reduced by more than 90 percent compared to cargo vessels using fossil fuels, reported CNN.
