The modern DRN building is filling up. It is now home to a beauty center Aether
The modern glass building DRN by the architect Stanislav Fiala, which cost 1.5 billion CZK to build, has been standing on Národní třída in Prague since 2017. Last year you could check the building out, including its roof terrace, as part of the Open House festival.
While the building remained empty throughout all of last year, now something is finally happening inside. The first floor now hosts a luxurious beauty and health center Aether, the opening of which we couldn't miss out on.
Coming here is like visiting a modern art gallery
The DRN building is, architecturally speaking, a rarity. The Aether center was able to make full use of it with the interior design help of Studio Patio headed by Monika White. The glass wall facing the inner courtyard fills the space with light, the overall appearance of the interior is timeless, completed with comfortable sofas and swing chairs; one can really feel the exceptionality of this place.
At AETHER you'll be cared for from head to toe
If you come here, you can leave as a brand new person. In this unique space you may experience true luxury and pampering in the field of cosmetology, massages and other beauty treatments. They only use the most luxurious cosmetics (Forlle'd, Valmont) and put emphasis on natural treatments. The founder of the studio, Aksana Lukanava, describes it as "a place that unites beauty and health".
I experienced it first-hand!
If I'm checking the place out, then with a real experience included. I had the opportunity to try an hour-long treatment worth 4,000 CZK, which included face cleansing using Forlle'd cosmetics, followed by a face massage and a nourishing face mask. I was really on cloud nine!
It was truly an extraordinary experience and I very much hope that DRN will become home to other unique companies providing interesting services. This building definitely deserves it!
