Luxury watches are characterised by their high price. However, it’s not just the whim of prestigious brands - there are reasons. It depends on the material of the casing - steel is the most affordable and resistant, while unique platinum shoots the price up to over one million korunas. As said, the mechanism (calibre) is also important, and a priority for all collectors. There are serial calibres, special calibres for a specific model and those referring to heritage. Let us not forget about precious stones, which are often featured in luxury watches, and quite honestly, the brand itself plays a role in the price.
