A partnership between unique designer Pillip Lima and the amazing and popular luxury Australian brand of comfortable and unique UGG boots, which are loved by the whole world! The designer himself remembered how they changed the world and now he wants to change it with them.
The wonderful and entertaining eighties have left their mark on the hearts of everyone who experienced them. The designer himself observed how the sub-culture changed and the excellent MTV channel began. It was an unbelievable beautiful luxurious life, which became the inspiration for this interesting and luxurious collection.
“One of the reasons I wanted to collaborate with the UGG brand is that I felt that we could create a collection together that would inspire, be amazing and would chiefly be affordable. This is a combination of my memories of UGG, of everything that was unexpected, effortless and informal elegance,” Phillip Lim confided.
Everything began with the question how luxury UGG boots would be worn today, because they are no longer just comfortable footwear worn by children, but shoes for everyone who enjoys comfort and particularly quality. The collection endeavours to emphasise and point out how cool these boots still are and particularly how stylish, luxurious and comfortable.
The sole is made from sturdy rubber, which protects them from water and snow and, most importantly, keeps them nice and rigid. It is also not about slipping into the boots, they have a zip, which you can use to close the boots as you require – this is the main characteristic of the UGG and Phillip Lim collection.
You will fall in love with these simple, cool and elegant boots.
I have always liked boots from UGG in the shop, I even bought an embellished pair in light pink with sheepskin. But the maintenance of this brand is the worst and most difficult. I was so annoyed with it that I never bought them again, although I am still tempted to.
When I saw the black rocker pair with a zip in the front I thought they looked good. Not for me, but OK for some adolescent in secondary school. But then came the turning point. Ooooh, boots with a rubber tip and without a zip. Those would be good for walking about in the manure at the paddock were I go to see the horses. But my eyes nearly fell out in horror at the ones with the rubber and the zip!!
Please, if you want to be stylish, look chic (even at the cottage or in the middle of Šumava, where you won’t meet a soul) and not age 1,050 years, then don’t buy a pair of UGGs linked to Pillip Lim under any circumstances!
