Luxury brand = luxury design = value. Quality design and a certain brand visualisation greatly increase its value. But be careful. Not everything that is expensive is luxurious and has a luxury design. Customers are attracted by luxury design and feel a certain emotion from it. So if you are choosing similar goods or services, follow your heart. Luxury design also includes a certain form of innovation. Design is not just about the visual aspect and creativity, but often also involves a technological service. Design is the creation of products that unifies functionality and aesthetics.
DESIGN “OSCAR”
In the field of design, the Red Dot awards are the parallel of the highest Oscar award in the world of film. Every year, these awards are presented in three categories - product and communication design, design concept. Products can win the Best of Best, Winner or Honourable Mention awards.
This year, several Czech products can boast a Red Dot award. The Best of Best award in the product design category was presented to the Czech Minimum wastebasket by Mmcité1, by chief designer David Karásek. The Czech vibrator under the Whoop.de.doo brand, designed by Czech designer Anna Maršová, drew attention in the same category and also one this prestigious award. The Czech Republic also one a prestigious design award for the LyraiN personal whirlpool, bearing the USPPA brand.
Czechs are highly regarded in the world of design. This is proven by the fact that the most influential design magazine in the world, Wallpaper, called the Czech Republic a powerhouse in global design. We’re not alone though; other powerhouses include countries like Germany, Denmark, Great Britain, Singapore, Mexico and the USA.
