Each piece in the PUNK collection is unique and luxurious at first sight. There are a total of four prints from the archives of Morris & Co, all featuring a bright orange motif and a series of bleached denim. Each piece combines the essence and aesthetics of punk. Loewe, under the leadership of its creative director Jonathan Anderson, created something that will take your breath away.

Crazy but perfect!
He wore his boots always on the wrong feet, he thought it made him punk. She applied her lipstick directly on her teeth, she thought it made her punk… Yes, you guessed it, these are the lyrics of the song “Známka punku” by Visací Zámek. I don’t know why, but I immediately thought of this song when I saw the Loewe and William Morris PUNK collection.
Wildly blossoming roses among dried leaves of tropical plants, denim mixed with marble or white meadow crane’s-bill on dark black leather. Yes, all of this could be considered sexy punk. But chubby elephants with hanging trunks and a children’s strawberry as a pendant? That’s a big no-no! It’s more of an infantile mockery – even if it wasn’t punk.
My favorite from this collection is the men’s model in which the young man is dressed from head to toe in a denim-marble variation, including shoes. It is a little crazy but the combination is perfect! And for ladies? Definitely the orange turtle-neck sweater, once again in combination with the denim-marble backpack and jeans with a men’s cut. Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week takes place already in March 2018, so why not wear it there?
