Lenny Kravitz isn’t just a great musician. He’s also a talented designer!
One of the most highly-anticipated mega concerts is drawing near. Lenny Kravitz will perform in Prague on 2 June during his Raise Vibration Tour 2018, at which he should present his latest album Raise Vibration.
Lenny Kravitz doesn’t disappoint in music. How about his designs?
Lenny Kravitz is a charismatic, multitalented musical artist, who needs no introduction to the Czech public. He has performed several times in the Czech Republic, and Czech simply adore his music, which is a mix of soul, rock & roll, folk, funk and reggae!
But it’s not just his signature or a piece of clothing that devoted fans can own. Lenny Kravitz has been designing interior furniture for a good number of years now. You can thus be the owner of unique furniture and luxurious accessories, which were created in his mind.
Kravitz Design: design to reflect his creative soul
He founded his Kravitz Design Inc (KDI) brand in 2003. Within it, he plays with colours, shapes, textures and various types of fabric. His luxurious design is pure, timeless and definitely COOL. It is a reflection of his soul, and just like in his music, even here you will find a mixture of various styles, which combine to form a harmonious and natural whole.
And Lenny Kravitz definitely doesn’t take his designer ambitions lightly! He cooperates with stars such as Philippe Starck (Mademoiselle chair) and leading companies like Kartell, Swarowski and Lea Ceramiche.
Luxury versus accessibility
The results of the aforementioned collaborations are very luxurious and expensive designs, which you can see in places such as the SLS hotel chain – Las Vegas, South Beach etc. But Kravitz also offers more affordable items.
We collaborated with CB2 on a collection of home decorations, which is more accessible. He described his work with CB2 as follows:
“Most of my work is luxurious, which means very expensive. I wanted to work with a company that is good at making affordable items of excellent quality.”
