5. Porsche 917/30 Spyder K - USD 3,000,000

The Porsche 917/30 Spyder race car was produced in 1973. Thanks to its unmistakeable blue-yellow colour it became ingrained in the mind of all racing-world enthusiasts. It acquired its “Die Hard” nickname. 

4. Porsche 550 A Spyder – USD 5,170,000

Another sports car on the list. A luxurious small silver car has a four-cylinder air cooled, horizontal opposed, 4 overhead camshaft engine by Dr. Ernst Fuhrmann. At world races it reached an impressive maximum speed of 240 km/h, and that is one of the reasons why it was called a "giant killer". Porsche 550 was a racing sports car made in the years 1953-1956. It was auctioned in 1958.

3. Porsche GT1 Strassenversion – USD 5,665,000 USD

In 1998 Porche released its GT1 Strassenversion model. Its body is made mainly of carbon fibres; in the centre there is a 544 bhp 3,163 cc twin-turbocharged dual overhead cam horizontally opposed a six-cylinder water-cooled engine. GT1 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. It was auctioned in 2017.

2. Porsche 956 – USD 10,000,000

Porsche 956 was built by German engineer Norbert Singer. The vehicle with chassis number 956-003 comes from the year 1982. It won in Le Mans in 1983, and was driven by legends such as Jacky Ickx, Al Holbert and Derek Bell. It was symbolised by its legendary ground effects. It was auctioned in 2015. 

1. Porsche 917 K – USD 14,000,000

Porsche 917 with chassis number 917-024 was sold for more than USD 14,000,000. It won the first total victory in the 24-hour Le Mans race in 1970. It was fitted with the first 5-litre V12 engine developed in Weissach. This vehicle also appeared in the Steve McQueen film, "Le Mans".
