Long live technology!

Forget good old paper invitations that produce tons of waste. Gucci's creative director, Alessandro Michele, decided to help the environment by taking advantage of the modern technologies we have at our disposal. This time, he invited his guests to the luxury Fall 2020 fashion show via WhatsApp!

There's no accounting for taste

One thing cannot be denied: diversity is definitely no stranger to Gucci's latest fashion show. You could see not only hippies (who strongly resembled homeless women), but also luxurious pantsuits or long robes adorned with ruffles and fluffy skirts as well as controversial leather harnesses on the catwalk. Well, there's gotta be something for you in this collection!

Trend No. 1: Bell-bottoms

One of the most striking trends introduced by Gucci are definitely the wide bell-bottoms, which are perfect for business meetings or walks along the promenade and through the town streets.

Trend No. 2: Knee socks

You won't make a mistake if you choose to add knee socks to your favorite outfit next season. What to pair them with? Try a combination with a mini skirt or a mini dress.

Trend No. 3: Again those face masks

It wouldn't be Gucci if the third trend wasn't a bit of an oddity. But you know what? When the mercury of the thermometer drops below zero, you'll be grateful for this furry face mask from Gucci.

Junkyard fashion hell

As we have already mentioned, the models inspired by the era of hippies are a mystery to us. More than anything else, they resemble homeless women, who'd gone dumpster diving and then thoughtlessly threw together a random outfit from whatever they'd found.

Luxury Prague Life TOP 3

In spite of all that, we have discovered more gorgeous models in the Fall 2020 collection than any of us would have expected. Like this tweed pink mini dress! When you strip away all that useless junk, it is an absolutely luxurious model.

Another thing we really enjoy is this dress that seemes to have been taken from the pages of a Jane Austen novel. Wow! Let's all sit down and wait for Mr. Darcy...

Depressed, self-destructive and unhappy Gucci

It is Sunday, the weather outside is awful, you wouldn't even let a dog out today, and I'm drowning in a strange kind of self-pity, because I'm a loser who has to go to work in a few hours. I'm wondering what would make me feel better. A bottle of white wine or shopping at Gucci? Those who know me are aware that I like to combine both vices, but after seeing this collection, I'm gonna have to chug the whole bottle and hope that I won't have nightmares. If I had a mere hint of depression before, tomorrow I'm gonna raid the pharmacy and grab all the over-the-counter sedatives.

I mean, what the hell? I guess Alessandro Michele must be feeling even worse than me, though. Aside of the fact that none of the models are, in my opinion, actually models, but ugly ducklings that got constantly bullied by the rest of their class at high school, because they simply aren't pretty, these rags remind me of times long gone. I have to call my great-grandmother and ask her to check her wardrobe, I bet I'll find something like this there.

Dad's jeans

I always have a problem buying jeans, most of them don't fit me. But thanks to this collection, I don't have to care. I'll just steal a pair from my dad, he probably won't even notice, I'll rip the knees and voilá! Then I'll put one of the headbands we all hated when we were little on my head and I'll be a star of our neighborhood.

A torn atheist

I've noticed that most of the models had a giant cross on their neck. I get it, there is so much evil at work in the world that it's necessary to show some faith. Faith in the universal good. I'm an atheist, so I don't give a damn about that, but what scares me more than the cross are the nylons. I don't like it when I buy something and immediately have to repair it. Such as holes in the pantyhose. By the way, I thought this lack of taste was common only for metal heads and emo people.

Fashion disaster

I proclaim this model the most outrageous thing I've seen so far this year. Green and blue have never matched too well and in this case, the contrast really strikes the eye. Plus, those awfully white furry stockings almost terrify me. I mean, did I go on a vacation at the sea in January only to hide my tan? Absolutely not! The headscarf makes me think of the countryside... or people with leukemia. If I meet someone wearing this on the street, I swear I'll pass out.

Light at the end of the tunnel

So as not to be completely bitter, I'll give Gucci one thing. Those giant skirts. I love them. And I'd even wear this model - except for the cross, of course. It is subtle, with colors that don't hurt the eyes. All in all, it gives me the impression that its creator has some basic respect for life and healthy mental development of others.
