Home Sweet Home, Says Lenny Who Finished Her Tour in Karlín Forum
There’s no place like home. At least that's how Lenny sees it, paying her tribute to her home, family, and close friends by her new single Home. The single Home and the video clip are the second insight into Lenny’s second album. On 1st November she finished her tour in Karlín Forum where she performed several new songs as well as her well-known hits.
New album will be released in 2019
Lenny 's second record is in full swing and we should definitely look forward to it. The single Home and the video clip are the second insight into the new album, and the captivating song cannot deny the singer's style, and similarly to the previous single Enemy there are influences of electronic music.
The singer has already written songs for her new record. There is even more than can fit on a record, so she has to choose wisely. The album should be released next year, but its atmosphere is still in making. The singer's first album Hearts was released in autumn 2016.
Single Home was written abroad
The song Home was born as an experimental project in Berlin, where it was composed by Lenny and two other musicians. Lenny admits that she travelled the world thanks to music, yet she prefers to return home to her family. Together with Ruy Okamura, a director, she came up with a video clip for the song where she doesn’t appear at all. "I didn’t want to be one of the main characters in the clip for once. I have known Ruy since my childhood and I really like his work. He has great talent to come up with great ideas with a point that have the power to affect viewers. I think he’s the first director who I let take the reins," adds the interpreter.
