Elon Musk during the inauguration of Donald Trump

President Donald Trump's speech was the most closely watched part of his inauguration, where everyone was watching what the new president actually plans in his tenure. He confirmed in it what he had promised in the campaign, but on the other hand, he surprised by intending to stick to the ranks of controversy. However, people did not want to believe Trump's campaign message. But currently, the rule of Occam's razor applies. The simplest explanation is the correct one. When Trump says something, he means it in all its beauty and horror. Including Hail, which occurred at his inauguration.

In defense of the well-known millionaire and television showman, currently the 47th President of the USA, it should be emphasized at the outset that he never saluted or alluded to the monstrosity of the Nazi and fascist past in front of his fans. On the other hand, not only his ardent fans, who are capable of smashing the symbol of American democracy in the name of conspiracy theories, as we saw in 2021, expressed such "joy".

The Nazi Germany was reminded by the main Trump's sponsor and the richest man on the planet Elon Musk. The billionaire, who tries more and more intensively to get involved in politics, according to the principle: "money can buy everything," including the freedom of saluting.

America after the democratic break

In his speech, Trump spoke about traditional American values and freedom. These became the reason why thousands of Americans sacrificed their lives in the fight against the Nazi attempt to destroy people's freedom forever. How is it possible that Musk, who invokes freedom on a daily basis in his posts on his social network, greets Trump's fans as a modern-day Hitler?

In a better case, he signals to the world that money allows him to do anything, from buying an American president to saluting in front of cameras, and in a worse case, he preaches water and drinks wine. He tells his followers about freedom, and behind the scenes he is building his fascist system, in which the state is intensely interconnected with his corporation that absorbs public space like a hydra, ousting its opponents from the table. At least that's how Italian fascists and German Nazis did it. Musk's incursion into politics resembles this not only in the chosen salute.

A system where it says white, but without batting an eye does black, is really strange. However, the fans of Trump and Musk, the pair who celebrated the conquest of the office of the most powerful man on the planet yesterday, explain their behavior in this way.

"After the democratic break between the 45th and 47th president, neither America nor the world is in a great state. Quite the contrary. The continuation of the democratic administration would not bring any hope for change. Trump is that hope! And Americans think so too, a political comeback of this kind is unprecedented in American history. I believe that even Trump, after four years on the bench, has learned a lot and that the break will help him be the leader that the USA so urgently need today. The new-old White House resident will undoubtedly have sharp elbows, not everything he comes up with will appeal to us instantly and will be in our best interest. But it will definitely be in America's interest. And maybe we will also be inspired by this lesson of sovereignty and more assertive defense of national interests in the spirit of the MAGA motto!"

MP Jan Skopeček (ODS) celebrated Trump's inauguration into office on the X network.

Beauty is in simplicity

In translation into human language, Skopeček tells us that Trump's politics are objectively against European and Czech interests and will harm us, but it's great because he didn't like the democratic intermezzo of President Biden. In the context of merry hailing at the inauguration, the question arises whether Skopeček's reference to the "democratic break" referred to the name of Biden's party or whether he was not playing with the support of undemocratic, i.e. totalitarian manners.

It's all kind of tangled. Why is an unshrouded nationalist from Klaus's school exulting over damaging Czech interests? Too complex a knot cannot be untied and must be cut. The proven Ockham's razor suggests itself. The philosophical method supports the least complicated solution in complex situations with a larger number of solutions.

So if someone says something, they do it because they think so. Musk hajls because he saw himself in fascism and makes excuses, because he does not have the courage to say it fully. Just as children are afraid to admit to their parents a broken flower pot.

The election of Trump as president was accompanied by numerous analyses suggesting that no one knows what the unpredictable bleached blonde from Florida will do. What did he do on the day he took office? He began signing decrees aimed at the policies he espoused in his campaign. Simple as a slap. Only some were reluctant to believe it.
