The third year of the Adapterra Awards competition is underway. An expert jury selects the best ideas from open countryside, urban and work environment or from the area of housing. Prague also has a category for the best adaptation project in the territory of the capital in the competition. In the summer, the public will also be able to choose a project they like most. Own technological, or nature-friendly solutions can be entered into the competition by owners, investors, designers and contractors.
"In our projects we focus on the retention and management of rainwater, planting trees in the city streets and in parks and forest parks, preparation of care for trees and greenery, replacement of impermeable surfaces for permeable and semi-permeable, implementation of community gardens or green courtyards, ie projects that help as many city dwellers as possible cope better with climate change. The capital city of Prague, in cooperation with the municipal company ICT Operator and the DDB Prague agency, has prepared a comprehensive information campaign on vaccination against covid-19 for the inhabitants of Prague. The basic tool will be the information website ockovani.praha.eu. Its visitors will find there answers to fundamental questions about vaccination prepared in cooperation with health professionals. Another goal of the site will be to refute misleading and untrue information that spreads on social networks.
"We feel the need to offer people all the necessary information about vaccinations in a comphrehensive manner and in one place. The government is way behind not only when it comes to providing vaccines for the most at-risk groups, but also in spreading awareness of the vaccination itself. In order for people to actually make a decision, they need to have enough relevant information,"
says the Mayor of the capital city of Prague Zdeněk Hřib. His daughter Gigi, who was traveling with him, didn't survive the helicopter crash either. In the past, she had often attended Bryant's matches, because the two shared a love for basketball.
Bryant's legacy is a model of a hard worker, dedicated to sport, a wise basketball mentor and a loving husband. The whole world remembered him yesterday.
