Britain will open seven major vaccination centers on Monday to help speed up the COVID-19 vaccination that the government wants to provide to all vulnerable people by mid-February. The country, which was the first to approve the vaccines developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca, currently immunizes approximately 200,000 people a day, Health Minister Matt Hancock said on Sunday. This number has to be increased to 2 million a week for England to meet its vaccination target by 15 February. Today, Minister Maat Hancock will present the largest vaccination program (The COVID-19 Immunization Plan) in British history.

"Our UK Covid-19 vaccines delivery plan maps our route back to normality, but it does not mean we can be complacent and it is mission critical that everybody abides by the restrictions in the coming weeks,"

Maat Hancock said in his statement. More than 81,000 people in Britain have died within 28 days of receiving a positive test result, which is the fifth highest official number of victims in the world, and more than 3 million people have tested positive.

Medical students won't have to pay a tax for helping in hospitals

Medical students were to pay a tax on remuneration for work in hospitals or social services, which they had been assigned to by the state. However, the Ministry of Finance announced that it would waive the obligation to pay income tax for all students. According to them, the tax will actually be covered by student discounts. The situation in the regions varies; some of them cover the students' income tax and real estate tax themselves.

Medical students have been ordered to do compulsory work since last spring. However, the original interpretation by the public authorities considered the remuneration paid a compensation for damage sustained, which is exempt from levies. The Minister of Industry and Transport, Karel Havlíček, admitted on Czech Television that the government had missed the obligation regarding the medical students' taxes. The Minister of the Interior, Jan Hamáček, stated that the uncertainty regarding tax and social security contributions would be addressed by the Central Crisis Staff at the next meeting.

After 13 years and 20 seasons, the Kardashians have finished shooting

Members of the Kardashian-Jenner family clan announced that they had wrapped up their last day of shooting of what also happened to be the very last season of their reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." The twentieth series will be broadcast at the beginning of this year, Kim Kardashian West shared in an Instagram post, and proceeded to announce the end of the series.

"We've just finished filming forever. It’s over, I’ll never shoot again. Isn’t it so crazy? Cheers. I don't know, 15 years, 20 seasons of madness and lots of love,"

said Kim Kardashian West. The first season aired in 2007, and for the past 13 years, devoted fans have been able to watch the members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan grow up.

Cooperation between Hyaundai and Apple

By March, Hyundai and Apple plan to sign a partnership agreement on autonomous electric cars; production should begin around 2024 in the United States. The report follows up on Hyundai Motor's Friday statement, which says that the company was at an early stage of the negotiations with Apple, after other media had revealed the companies intended to launch an electric car in 2027, with 20% of Hyundai shares.

Hyundai Motor declined to comment on the report on Sunday, reiterating Friday's statement, which informed the company had received requests for possible cooperation in the development of autonomous electric cars. According to the latest information, the companies have been planning to build the cars at the Kia Motors plant in Georgia or jointly invest in a new factory in the United States, where 100,000 vehicles would be produced around 2024. Kia Motors is a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor.

Fans who have been impatiently anticipating Sex and the City 3 can finally start celebrating! On Sunday, Cynthia Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis shared a new teaser for "And Just Like That". The new HBO Max Original series is based on the book Sex and the City by Candice Bushnell and the original television series created by Darren Star. The series will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they move from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. The ten-part series with 30-minute episodes is scheduled to start filming in New York in late spring.
