The Chanel FW 19/20 fashion show was opened by one of the most important muses to Karl Lagerfeld – Cara Delavigne, who was also accompanied by Kaia Gerber, who worked closely with the legendary designer. To everyone’s surprise even the beautiful Penélope Cruz showed up on the catwalk, carrying a white rose. Let’s take a closer look at the moving show, which at the end brought many models to tears.

While some display their FW collection on a ‘common’ cat walk, Chanel decided to take us to an authentic mountain village, where the ground was covered by snow, and where the surrounding is populated by charming wooden cottages. The form which Grand Palais took upon itself this time, absolutely endeared us.

I don’t know, how better to express not on the Chanel FW 19/20 fashion show, but the atmosphere of the whole show, the last of its kind, which the divine Karl had dreamed out for all participants and viewers.
I have many favourite outfits, and all have one distinctive element: the iconic Chanel tweed. A warm overall with a black and white overcoat, which Cara Delevigne wore is exactly what I had I nmind, and even including a luxury necklace. Yes, it’s not really the usual choice for an ordinary meeting in the city. This is something more:As if Louver was calling at me from a distance ‘Come and take a look and saber open at least one bottle of Dom Pérignon!‘.
After that, I was only enjoying the gentle snowy white wave of pants, skirts and dresses. Bravo, Karl! I will never forget!
