A deluxe Bollywood wedding: Deepika Padukone amazed in a Sabyasachi dress!
Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Sigh are finally husband and wife. They said their marriage vows at a beautiful and deluxe venue in Italy, to which they invited their family and friends. The ceremony took place in a villa on Lake Como. A traditional wedding that was a deluxe two-day affair
Guests started to arrive at the deluxe Villa del Balbienello, which affords a view of the lake, on the day before the wedding. Although the wedding was closely guarded, plenty of amazing photographs full of luxury were released to the public. The ambiance was evidently pleasant and also very romantic according to the photographs. The ceremony itself was held in the traditional Indian style.
A deluxe red wedding dress with detailed embellishment
The actress wore an unbelievable embellished red dress from the workshop of renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She naturally also wore a headscarf, embellished in detail with small beads, stones and gold embroidery. The bride changed into a different deluxe dress several times and she looked amazing in every one.
Deepika was simply magnificent. Her distinctive make-up emphasised her beauty and she coordinated her richly decorated red dress with her husband, who also wore red and gold.
Adorned with gems and gold jewellery
It was not only the dress that was impressive. The jewellery that the husband and bride were adorned with also took our breath away.
Ranveer wore many beaded bracelets, a headdress and also a beautifully decorated necklace made from coloured stones. Deepika wore even more jewellery: as well as the décor on her dress and headscarf, she also wore many necklaces, bracelets, rings and an enormous nose ring. Basically classic Indian style.
Their clothes may seem overdone to you. But in our opinion they are simply part of the Indian tradition. Everything was perfect to the smallest detail and it was magnificent wedding that won’t soon be forgotten!
