Even in the coronatimes, Chanel always finds a way. Since the leading fashion brand couldn't go through with their planned show in May, they came up with another way to present the new Cruise 2020/21 collection with 51 looks to the public - online! The subtitle of the campaign is "Balade en Méditerranée" and, as the name suggests, it is a breathtaking walk through the Mediterranean. What has Chanel prepared for you this time, besides its iconic tweed costumes? A luxurious spectacle with the promise of a juicy summer!
The new collection is full of energetic shades including, among others, coral, raspberry, yellow, red or fuchsia. At the same time, however, the brand doesn't stray away from immortal classics in the form of black, white or casual denim. Cruise 2020/21 is a chic collection across various fashion styles, in which you'll find both tweed bikinis or trendy leather shorts and classic little black dresses suitable for a romantic candlelight dinner. Karel Lagerfeld's successor, Virginia Viard, left a piece of herself and, above all, a lot of creative ideas in the collection.

Forget about slims - bellbottoms are back!
The main feature of the collection are wide trousers, which the designer combines with waist jackets, oversize jackets and sweaters or crop tops. Those may not be everyone's thing, but it's one more reason to have a scoop of ice cream less in the summer! Geometric patterns also play a significant role in the new collection, as well as the brand's logo, which can be spotted mainly on accessories such as handbags or belts, or luxury tulle. Virginia Viard applied it on elegant, airy dresses or tunics, which will turn you into an ethereal fairy.

I love this beautiful magenta color. It's something I like to include my wardrobe and whenever I see a model in this color, I need to have it. It's a pity that Chanel didn't use magenta in more of their models. The classic wool Chanel jacket has been livened up by a skirt with a slightly more playful cut, which will suit even the younger generation. Not every woman knows how to wear the classic Chanel ensemble.
You won't offend anyone with white

White, the color of summer, never offends anyone. I like the cut of the dress - you can tie it on a bow, which accentuates the waist, making one's silhouette looks feminine and at the same time playful and not uptight. There's a nice pattern too, which is essential in a dress made of white fabric. And lace never disappoints.
You can never go wrong with black

I like asymmetry and cuts that emphasizes feminine virtues. The cut of any dress with a top that leads behind the neck is very sexy and disticvtive. Plus, showing your shoulders all the way down to the collarbone is always seductive, yet tasteful. In case the dress isn't too short. This model that ends below the knees is ideal. And you can never go wrong with black.
I gave jeans a red light

Jeans combined with another fabric are not quite my style. In fact, I hardly ever wear any jeans at all. I like feminine lines, elements that emphasize the feminine silhouette. This model isn't working for me.
For the beach... maybe

Black is good. Almost always and everywhere. But sometimes even black cannot save a model we've already seen a million times. Something that has no innovative element or interesting idea whatsoever. It might be okay for the beach, but the skirt seems pretty unflattering to me.
