Surprising combination of almost antagonistic materials and techniques

Also because of that the collection is called "Brut"! We are introducing a luxury collection that proudly bears the name Brut, crafted by Konstantin Grcic. Its cornerstone, as one could say, is drawing inspiration from industrial production of alloy, used primarily as construction material for bridge structures and as a base for heavy equipment. How could it be described? A smooth, robust cast iron construction in combination with marble and other materials looks really incredible. Do you know that feeling of comfortable, calming hospitality? That is absolutely fitting.

How could one imagine the word "brut"? Do you know Champagne Brut?

This word evokes in our minds something unprocessed, firstly raw, but also full and a bit acidy up to partly fruity taste, the famous wine full of dainty bubbles which get absorbed on the upper palate. Artistically described.

Its original, lush style it encompasses sense of function and aesthetics, which speaks volumes of the times in which we live and is immediately pleasing, leaving behind a clear memory of the place where you saw it.

The word ´brut´ comes from the French word, brut, standing for rough. In architecture we know the brutal style as a modern direction in architecture, using material - "rough concrete".

The use of luxury collection, Brut, is wide indeed

The concept of the collection is intended especially for comfortable public areas in which you can relax, chill out and socialise. The work that came out of the hands of Kostantin Grcic - Brut encompasses tables of various shapes and sizes, including one with height-adjustable construction, benches, chairs and sofas manufactured from a range of different fabrics and colours. Some pieces are also suitable for outdoor use.

The master, Konstantin Grcic himself, is a distinctive, exceptional Artist

Konstantin Grcic defines the function in human terms, combining strict forms with notable mental acuity and humour. Each of his products expresses careful study of the history of design and architecture and his passion for technologies and materials. Notorious for his "fragmented pieces”, Grcic is often referred to as being minimalist, but the designer himself prefers to talk about simplicity.

We enthusiastically applaud this luxurious endeavour!
