The BMW 8 series Cabrio offers the highest level of comfort, first-rate assistance system quality and innovation in the field of steering and operation. The vehicle is 4843 mm long, 1902 mm wide and 1339 mm high and has practically the same dimensions as the deluxe BMW 8 Coupé series.

The classic fabric soft-top, which is multi-layer and distinguished by its light weight and excellent sound proofing, ensures that you can enjoy the feeling of freedom and wind in your hair. It folds under a cover, which has the same surface structure as the instrument panel and door panelling, and unifies the appearance of the deluxe interior. It takes only 15 seconds for the roof to extend or fold away and this process is fully automatic – you simply push a button on the centre panel.

The new deluxe vehicle has undergone high-temperature testing in the USA where it was subjected to 50 degree temperatures, extreme dust under desert conditions, driven in traffic along Strip Las Vegas, gravel roads by Mount Whitney and on long routes between the Pacific coast and the Rocky Mountains.
