Bentley Motors in Geneva: Bentayga Hybrid and the Luxury V8
Hybrid version of the most luxurious SUV in the world
There have long since been speculations that Bentley will come up with a hybrid version of its SUV. Now we are presented with the luxurious Bentayga Hybrid, which combines a petrol six-cylinder 3.0 TFSI with an electric engine; as used by Porsche Panamera. The car boasts of a maximum power of 340 kW and a torque of 700 Nm. As far as emissions are concerned, the values move around 75g/km of CO2. Its consumption is 3.2 litres per 100 kilometres and it´s range on electric charge is 50 km. It is the most economic Bentley vehicle of all times.
Bentayga Hybrid has many features that ensure a comfortable ride. It uses a satellite navigation system which calculates the maximum efficiency to utilise its combustion as well as the electric engine. You enter the destination and during the entire journey the control unit constantly calculates the best use of energy. It is able to spread it so that the charge status is zero upon you arrival at your destination.
The luxury car should appear in the market in the second half of this year.
The luxury Bentayga V8 car is no less remarkable
The new luxury SUV is fitted with a four-litre petrol eight-cylindre engine with a power of 404 kW and torque of 770 Nm. It goes from zero to 100 kilometres within 4.5 seconds and its maximum speed is 290 km/h.
It is presented at the Geneva Car Salon in a sophisticated silver colour and its interior in burgundy red is absolutely astonishing. The top quality leather and flawless finish is obvious at first sight and therefore this car became our personal favourite.
The luxury car Bentley Bentayga V8, which so far can only be admired by visitors of Geneva, should come onto the market in 2019. We cannot wait!
