Elie Saab is a fashion expert par excellence. From whom else should we draw inspiration by hot autumn trends than from one of the best experts? Here are 5 trends which the Lebanese designer presented during the luxury fashion show FW 19/20.
Sensual, refined, and superbly feminine. Musketeer boots are a sophisticated wardrobe essential which you can combine with whatever you can think of and the result will always be stunning. A hit of the upcoming autumn will be luxurious leather, as well as metallic shades of gold and silver.
Blue, green, burgundy or black... It doesn´t matter which combination of boots and dress you go for; what is important, is to stick to the tone in tone rule. One colour certainly does not mean boredom! Fashion looks of Elie Saab are clear evidence of this.
Take it off the shoulder and take the path of asymmetry. This feature looks great on chic overalls as well as posh evening gowns.
Wake up for a moment your manly inner self and put on a stylish tuxedo. You can go for a black classic one or bolder tones, such as green. This untraditional piece will surprise all and in terms of trends you will be a milestone ahead.
Let yourself be embraced by the flood of sequins and sparkly rhinestones. They will look great on evening sweeping gowns but also chic on shirts, skirts or overalls, bringing them to a higher level.
Now you know them all and you can go shopping. Have a lucky hand in your choice and don´t forget that nothing should be exaggerated and even when following trends, you should not stop being yourself!
It´s been a long time I last saw a collection of Elie Saab, in which the main role wouldn´t be taken up by noble evening gowns. There are even those who have started to consider this genius purely as a ball gown specialist. But as Paris has now confirmed, the opposite is true, and Elie again managed to leave most other designers behind!
This collection really offers a great deal: from stylish minimalism to bright elegance, peppered by cheeky clever stuff. My favourite from the first part is a model consisting of extra-long black musketeer boots in combination with an emerald-green dress, decorated just by a sophisticated tie. The elegant simplicity and genius idea at the same time took my breath away. If the movie "Basic Instinct 2” would be shot today, the legendary white dress of Sharon Stone would be replaced by this one! So, go for it!
And, to conclude, I chose a model, which I believe is the climax of the entire show. A black sparkly dress with lace frills on the sides and a bigger bow at the waist. Dear oh dear I cannot even take a breath! This is such a brutally sexy piece that it would tempting to look at for anyone, and who knows where looking may lead … And where would one wear this ravishing item? My idea would be to church after a gala reception at the Spanish Hall!
