An adventure called Canyoneering, Cebu Island. Endorphins in full flow!

A deluxe lifetime experience

I surrendered to my curiosity and decided to try canyoneering on my own skin in the wilds in the Philippines, on Cebu Island at Kawasan. I was sufficiently acquainted with the safety instructions, which there are never enough of, I put on a helmet, a life jacket and solid tennis shoes and set out on my newest adventure.

After completing a trek through the tropical jungle, I saw what looked like a deluxe mysterious canyon. I gradually admired the unbelievably beautiful, water-washed cliff wall forming a narrow canyon with sparkling drops of rushing cool water, caves and sometimes also magnificent waterfalls. Deluxe splendour. The interestingly coloured turquoise water within the limestone cliffs encouraged us to cool down, and I did not expect it to actually be ice cold.

I thought the first jump was probably the worst, as you have no idea what’s coming. The subsequent jumps and water games are just deluxe cherries on top of the cake. I spent a total of over 3 hours in the canyon. My biggest jump was from 7 metres. I was delighted, I had the experience of a lifetime. I am already thinking about what will come next.

All in all, you can expect some real fun, jumping into countless sweet-water pools from a height of up to 10 metres, swimming through rapids, exploring caves and deluxe natural water slides, all under the supervision of a guide, so there is no need to be afraid.
