Argentine Ballet Diva Marianela Núñez

She was born in Argentina, Buenos Aires in 1982 and started with ballet at the age of three. She joined the Royal Ballet in London in the year 1998 at the age of 16. In 2001 she was promoted to the first soloist, a year later she became a prima ballerina.

Tamara Rojo, the face of modern ballet

This phenomenal ballerina with Spanish roots, who was born in 1974 in Canada, has belonged among the most famous faces of luxurious modern ballet for quite some time already. Since 2012, she has been performing the function of artistic director of the English National Ballet, for which she used to dance for many years and where she still appears as a guest artist. She was also to be seen in the Royal Ballet, in the Opera de Nice or in the Scottish Ballet.

A dancer with music in his heart - Carlos Acosta

He was born in 1973 in Cuba. Despite his heritage, Carlos Acosta did not fall for traditional Cuban rhythms, but for the noble art of ballet. His ability to express emotions and show the joy of dance makes everyon's heart flutter. He danced on the world's biggest stages: the Paris Opera, Russian Bolshoi, ABT or the luxurious Royal Ballet in London. He was appointed as the head of one of UK's leading classical ballet companies, Birmingham Royal Ballet, as of January 2020.

A Russian ballet dancer born in 1984, who studied at the prestigious Bolshoi School, became the prima ballerina of the Staatsoper Ballet in Berlin at the age of 18. A year later, she danced in Swan Lake with the English National Ballet, and joined the California Ballet a year after that. As a proof of her undeniable talent, she has already accumulated a large number of prizes throughout her career: Best Dancer of the Year, German Critics Award, Benois Award and awards from prestigious dance competitions.
