Reunions of unique veterans are mostly associated with auctions. The biggest auction houses are Sotheby's, Gooding, Company or Mecum. For example the British auction house Sotheby's in Monterey, California, where Monterey Car Week is regularly held in August, sold a unique Racing Championship Aston Martin DBR1 from 1956 for unbelievable 501,15 million crowns. However, the record is held by the Parisian auction house, Artcurial, where an incredible price of a racing Ferrari from 1957 was achieved!

The three winning positions were taken by Alfa Romeo, Jaguar and Ferrari.

Ferrari 335S had been for years a part of the luxury Collection of Frenchman Pierre Bardinon. In 1957 the famous duo, Peter Collins and Maurice Trintignant sat behind its steering wheel at the 12-hour race in Sebring. Racer Wolfgang von Trips brought this car to a second position in the famous race, Mille Miglia. Mike Hawthorn also created a new luxury record at the Le Mans circuit, when he was the first to get under 4 minutes, meaning that he made a lap at an average speed of 200km/h. In 2016 this racing Ferrari became the most expensive car in the history of auctions, when its new owner won it for almost 1 billion crowns (more precisely for CZK 903.49 million).
